Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care (NWA CoC) is responsible for coordinating a regional response to end homelessness. NWA CoC is also tasked with aligning the regions’ HUD funding with a regional strategic plan to ensure the resources are spent in accordance with that regional plan to end homelessness.

The Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care (NWA CoC) issued a request for proposals for the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on Monday, June 8, 2026 via this website, thru the NWA Democrat Gazette and via listserv.  The proposals are for the FY 2026 Continuum of Care Competition and Renewal or Replacement of Youth Homeless Demonstration Program Grant.  HUD released the FY 2026 NOFO on June 1, 2026.  The closing date for the 2026 NOFO is August 26, 2026, with applications due in final form by July 27, 2026,  HUD requires CoCs to review and rank local proposals and submit a consolidated application to HUD through a HUD-approved Collaborative Applicant. The Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care (NWA CoC) is the local Collaborative Applicant.

The ‘Letter of Intent” for all New Projects and Renewal Projects is due on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 by 11:59 pm EST.  Please email the letter(s) of intent to Quinn Emett at [email protected].

The LOCAL NWA CoC Application and budget forms including all attachments and submission to eSNAPS is due on July 27, 2026, at 11:59 pm per the instructions included. Links below are to the Requests for Proposals (RFP), Letters of Intent, and Timeline for NWA CoC Local Competition.
